RELEASE NOTES

What’s new in Moway

The highlights of what we’ve shipped, newest first — and a look at what’s coming next.

SEPTEMBER 2026

Request access online

New

Ask for a Moway project straight from the website. Once approved, you get an email invitation — accept it and your project and API key are ready.

Project dashboard

New

Sign in to see your project at a glance and view, edit and publish its content — no admin of your own to build.

  • Owners also manage content types and API keys
  • Editors write content and upload media
  • Everyone only ever sees their own projects

Image uploads over the API

New

Upload images straight into your project with its API key — no storage account or credentials on your side.

  • PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF and AVIF, up to 4 MB each
  • Files are stored in your project’s own space and served from a global CDN
  • Each upload returns a permanent URL you can save straight into an image field

Tighter API security

Security

Every API endpoint now requires a valid key. A project key can only read, write and manage its own project’s content and files.

Moway is live

Launch

The Moway platform is now running in production, with media served from a global CDN for faster image delivery.

AUGUST 2026

Every project ships with a key

New

New projects come with a ready-to-use API key, so you can send your first request the moment your project exists.

Writes locked to your project

Security

Creating, updating and deleting content is always scoped to the key’s own project — there’s no way to write into another project.

SPRING 2026

Page metadata

New

Page entries carry a template, a path and a home-page flag in API responses, so your front end can route and render them without extra configuration.

FOUNDATIONS

The core platform

Launch

A private project for your content, with an API to read and write it.

  • Content types with 15+ field types
  • Query content types and entries by slug
  • Create, update and delete entries over the API
  • One API key per project, fully isolated from every other project
